The New Orleans Saints have lost safety Erik Harris for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL.
According to multiple reports, Harris suffered the injury during the Saints practice on Monday. It was the team’s first practice since returning from their bye week break.
Harris had become one of the Saints key special teams performers after signing with the team this offseason after three years in the Canadian Football League.
Harris recorded one tackle in four regular season games for New Orleans. He has played just two defensive snaps with the majority of his time spent on special teams.
