Trevor Siemian listed as questionable for Thursday night

All signs this week have pointed to quarterback Trevor Siemian returning to the Broncos lineup after missing last Sunday’s loss to the Falcons with a left shoulder injury.

The Broncos weren’t willing to make Siemian a sure thing when they handed in their final injury report before Thursday night’s game against the Chargers, however. Siemian has been listed as questionable to play in the matchup between AFC West teams.

Siemian has been a limited participant in practice this week, but has been taking the reps with the first-team offense. Paxton Lynch would start for the second straight game should the Broncos decide that Siemian needs more time to recover.

Cornerback Kayvon Webster is also listed as questionable due to a hamstring injury. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who is recovering from a broken forearm, is the only player ruled out although the Broncos will also be without head coach Gary Kubiak after he was hospitalized on Sunday night.

Honestly, if you can’t win Thursday night without him, you aren’t going back to the playoffs this year.

Welp, based on what I saw Sunday, the Broncos are gonna need him.

It doesn’t matter who’s playing QB for Denver because the Chargers will collapse for them in the last few minutes. They can line up Von Miller in a Wildcat if they feel like it.

The Broncos are admitting their first round QB is a bust with this move. Elway looks like a fool for reaching for Paxton Lynch instead of waiting to draft Dak Prescott.
