Eifert likely out again after missing another practice

Bengals Pro Bowl tight end Tyler Eifert didn’t practice again Thursday, and it seems highly unlikely that Eifert will make his season debut Sunday at New England.

The Bengals did get wide receiver A.J. Green and running back Jeremy Hill back to full practice Thursday, but Eifert remains out. He’s been recovering from offseason ankle surgery but it was a new back injury that held him out of last week’s loss to the Cowboys.

He’s been listed on the team’s official participation and injury report as having back and ankle injuries.

The Bengals play two more games -- vs. the Browns next week, and vs. the Redskins in London -- before their bye week, and at this point it’s fair to wonder if Eifert might be out until then.

Green sat out Wednesday with a calf injury. Hill was limited Wednesday with a chest injury. Guard Clint Boling was also a full participant Thursday after sitting out Wednesday due to a shoulder injury. The Bengals added cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick to the report Thursday as limited with a hand injury.
