No Darrelle Revis or Nick Mangold at practice Thursday

When the Jets opened practice in front of the media on Thursday afternoon, there was some reason to think cornerback Darrelle Revis might participate in practice for the first time since hurting his hamstring against the Seahawks in Week Four.

Revis had his helmet for that opening stage of the session, something that has not been the case in his recent appearances as a practice observer. The on-field work turned out to be the same as those other practices, however.

Coach Todd Bowles said that Revis did not take part in practice, joining center Nick Mangold, who has a knee injury, and linebacker David Harris, who has a hamstring injury, on the sideline.

“They’re progressing along ... I’ll probably get a better feel on Friday,” Bowles said.

The 1-4 Jets will be in Arizona to face the Cardinals on Monday night, so they’ll have an extra day to work with in hopes of getting the three starters back into the lineup.
