Ronnie Stanley returns to Ravens practice

Carolina Panthers v Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens got good news about one of their three starting offensive linemen dealing with injuries on Thursday.

Left tackle Ronnie Stanley took part in practice after missing Wednesday’s session. Stanley’s foot injury has kept him from playing the last two weeks, forcing the Ravens to shuffle some pieces along their offensive front and contributing to the team’s struggles when they’ve had the ball.

Even if Stanley returns to action, the shuffling might have to continue against the Giants this weekend. Right tackle Rick Wagner and right guard Marshal Yanda missed practice for the second straight day, which will add to concern that they’ll be unable to go on Sunday. The Ravens claimed former Dolphins guard Billy Turner off waivers on Wednesday and signed Vladimir Ducasse on Tuesday to increase their options in the event the duo can’t play.

Wide receiver Steve Smith also missed practice with the ankle injury he suffered against the Redskins, which may lead to a bigger role for Kamar Aiken in Week Six.
