Cyrus Jones not fined for play that resulted in ejection

Patriots rookie cornerback Cyrus Jones was not fined for his actions in last week’s win at Cleveland, PFT has learned.

Jones was ejected from the game in the third quarter for throwing punches at Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins. The lack of a fine indicates that further review of the play might have shown that Jones wasn’t really throwing punches.

Hawkins beat Jones for a touchdown early in the game, but the Patriots went on to score a comfortable victory.

Make up call for Brady suspension…sorry Roger, won’t work

What a surprise given how nothing was seen at the time. But at least the refs got to eject a guy for no reason which apparently is a thing that can happen now.

Mysteriously TV camera’s weren’t able to get a clear view of the play. I’m not saying the ejection wasn’t warranted…….oh who am I kidding, no fine, no foul equals officials screwing up again. They are in no win situations. One week prima donna receiver’s get away with murder and the next rookie dime package db’s get tossed. Must have been an incredibly bad call if the NFL couldn’t pull money out of a players pocket.

Nobody seen any punches thrown. The NFL should be forwarding him a compensatory check for ejecting him.

I can understand why there was no footage of this incident, since and NFL telecast only has 97 cameras trained on the field.

A lack of concrete evidence has never stopped the NFL before.

    hilarious

hawkins dives at his knees from across the field with the play finished and out of bounds and somehow they say he threw a punch, but he didn’t.

    classic

just proves goodell tells officials to make things up

i think they thought with coleman and rowe inactive, it would allow them to be shorthanded at cb.

why does this mysterious made up call crap only happen to the pats?

About time PFT got a Pats article up today. The trolls count on you to get something Pats related up to feed their obsession. That poor drool fool was forced to accost a Pats fan on a Dolphins thread earlier just to get some venom out.

What was shown on replay showed basically that the kid did nothing. At first I assumed he did something and that the game broadcast cameras missed it. Then I instantly thought, “I bet the ref screwed that up”. No wonder viewership is down.

I’m sure Jones would have preferred the fine over the Monday morning meeting in Belichick’s office.

Tamper with Shula’s unused field tarp, maybe there’s some gear under there along with his integrity

Jones said he didn’t punch the guy, or maybe missed. What ever!

That posting answers the question as to why a Dolphins fan would make multiple usernames with some meant to look like names that might be selected by a Patriots fan.

Answer – some Dolphins fans apparently can’t tell the difference between the 2 teams.

I will type slowly so Chippy can understand:

The Patriots – are the team that wins most of their games.
The Dolphins – are a team that loses most of their games.

    The good team is 4 & 1
    The bad team is 1 & 4

If you get sad just look at the Dolphins records in a mirror.

The Dolphins were among the 31 teams that recently cheated the Patriots out of two draft picks and forced the best player to miss 4 games to help create league parity. And ruined the Patriots chances of earning a perfect season.

No fan of another team would intentionally make a username that looks like one that would be selected by a Patriots fan. That would make them pathetic. It has to be a stupid mistake.

The official who ejected Jones should be fined, suspended, or taken to a mandatory eye exam.

We all know they got it on camera, they had to have seen clearly on film he was innocent to go against the ref. If it was ambiguous they would have assessed the fine and no one would have been the wiser that they had no evidence. (It’s not like they haven’t concealed that fact in the past). So they were looking at hard evidence on film of what really happened which told them there was too much risk someone had cell phone shots too so it was better to just let it go. They had taken a the Pat’s down one CB in the game so they got the main thing they wanted out of it. Fining a rookie would have been nice too but not vital to their cause.

This shows how Goodell, Kraft’s lap dog protects the Pats.

It also shows how bad the cheating actually was that they slapped their wrists.

Belicheat and Shady should have been suspended for the year as repeat cheaters.

NFL should release the tape vindicating Cyrus Jones.

A few problems with your thought process.

First – The video indicates that Cyrus Jones did not throw any punches. Therefore he should not have been ejected. It also means that the fine happy NFL could not even justify taking money from him.

At this point only those having brains made of cement, or some other rock hard substance, still believe that the Patriots deflated footballs.

Intelligent fans of other teams perform actual tests using NFL footballs and post the results in videos online. One such video can be found by searching for: “Deflate Gate & Why Science Says the Patriots Did Not Tamper With Footballs”.

That video supports what science says. That video supports what those that understand science say.

That video also provides information that can predict what the NFL found when the NFL conducted PSI studies of footballs before and during games in the 2015 season.

To this day the NFL has not released the information from that PSI study even though it was collected during the 2015 season. Based on science and video evidence from people performing tests on footballs its is clear that that PSI information shows that footballs deflate naturally.

In law they would call that exculpatory evidence and the NFL is corrupt for continuing to hide that evidence while stealing draft picks from the Patriots.

All this information also shows that those that use terms like “Belicheat” and “Shady” while calling the Patriots cheaters are nothing more than gullible duped fools.

I’m not a scientist but tell me about the ideal gas laws that prove that Cyrus did not throw those punches.
