The Jets got a couple of starters back at practice on Friday, raising hopes that they’ll be in the lineup against the Cardinals on Monday night.
Cornerback Darrelle Revis and center Nick Mangold were both limited participants in Friday’s practice after coach Todd Bowles said that they were progressing on Thursday. Revis hurt his hamstring in Week Four and missed last Sunday’s game against the Steelers while Mangold left that loss with a knee injury.
Revis’ play has been down from past heights so far this season as has the Jets secondary as whole, but the Jets have little to do in that area other than hope for improvement as the season unfolds.
Linebacker David Harris remained out of practice with a hamstring injury while left tackle Ryan Clady and tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins got in limited workouts. The Jets will have a walkthrough practice Saturday before heading to Arizona.
