Raiders will be without running back Latavius Murray again this week

AP

The Raiders are going to have to play their second straight division game without running back Latavius Murray.

Via Scott Bair of CSNBayArea.com, Murray has been ruled out of this week’s game against the Chiefs, along with offensive tackles Menelik Watson and Vadal Alexander.

Murray’s been bothered by a turf toe injury, and didn’t play against the Chargers last week.

In his absence, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard split the carries, with Jamize Olawale mixing in at the goal line and scoring a touchdown.

  1. I love Washington and Richard, they have their roles and do a good job, but Murray brings size and power to the table that the other two don’t.

  2. Wow what talented backups (not). Just Flush Baby!!!! I hope the Raiders win, if they do I’ll complain about how many yards Carr threw for. Wide Right I lose Again because I have nothing better to do!!! Right Joe!?!

  3. We’ll let you borrow Knile Davis. He’s KC’s 4th back, and he’s better than any of the bums the Las Vegas Raiders can toss out.

KC’s practice squad back – ole what’s his name – he’s better too.

Yeah, that Spencer Ware is a beast. 70 yard average and 3 fumbles in four games. Wooh.

The Chiefs are giving up 130 yards per game rushing. Even the Raiders and their dead-last defense don’t give up that many. Oakland’s scrubs may just be up to the task. By the way, that Vegas blast really hurts. Who would want to go there for a weekend of gambling, shows, and football when you can go to KC and catch the cow-chip toss contest on Saturday and a giant family reunion at Arrowhead on Sunday?

  6. If the Chiefs can’t smoke these scrubs, there’s no point to the season. The worst defense in the league should be good for 30+.

I have no faith in Alice Smith, but Carr has a pathetic YPA and YPC too.
