Denver Broncos left tackle Russell Okung was taken to a hospital after experiencing concussion-like symptoms following Thursday night’s 21-13 loss to the San Diego Chargers.

According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post, Okung was carted from the locker room to a waiting ambulance with an IV.

Okung played the entirety of Thursday night’s game against the Chargers. He had two costly holding penalties in the second half, one of which gave the Chargers a safety due to the infraction coming in the Broncos end zone.

Okung has started every game for Denver this season after signing with the team as a free agent this offseason.

UPDATE 1:34 a.m. ET: The Broncos announced that Okung was released from the hospital and cleared to return to Denver with the team Thursday night.
