The streak is over.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw an interception on his 177th pass attempt of the season, ending a record-setting streak for interception avoidance to start a career. Prescott was flushed from the pocket on a third down and threw a ball behind tight end Jason Witten that Packers safety Morgan Burnett corralled for a turnover.

Prescott’s streak might still be alive if wide receiver Brice Butler had been able to catch a deep ball that clanged off his hands on the previous play, but it remains an impressive way for Prescott to kick off his career.

Rodgers threw an interception of his own earlier in the third quarter, which the Cowboys were able to turn into a field goal that extended their lead to 20-6. Rodgers fumbled while trying to run the ball into the end zone from the two-yard-line shortly before Prescott’s interception and his rough day continued when he missed an open Randall Cobb in the back of the end zone after the interception.

Mason Crosby came on for his third field goal of the day and the Packers trail 20-9 with 14:48 left to play.
