Haden inactive, replaced by rookie Boddy-Calhoun

Browns cornerback Joe Haden is inactive for Sunday’s game at Tennessee due to a groin injury.

Haden also missed a game at Miami last month with a groin injury. The team said this week his new injury is not related to his previous one.

Rookie Briean Boddy-Calhoun is the listed starter in place of Haden vs. the Titans. Veteran cornerback Tramon Williams is active after missing some time with a shoulder injury.

Haden, a two-time Pro Bowler, was limited to five games last season by a variety of injuries. He missed a good chunk of training camp and the preseason this year while recovering from offseason ankle surgery.

The Browns announced some expected shuffling along their offensive line with Cameron Erving returning from a bruised lung. Erving will start at center, John Greco will move back to right guard and Alvin Bailey will move to left guard after Joel Bitonio suffered a season-ending foot injury.

Idk why i didnt see the tanking coming from the browns. They passed on Wentz for the extra picks, knowing they would tank, and get a top pick in next years draft.

Heres hoping they can turn around the losing culture quickly enough to save their jobs.

I wish they would unload this over-rated often injured cornerback already. They had no qualms about cutting and trading guys who were healthy and could play so why are they holding on to Haden? His time has passed.

Time for Kessler to take another butt kicking thanks to his crap offensive line. I hope Hogan is ready to go at least to hand the ball off after Kessler gets crushed again today.

Trade Haden for whatever you can get. Ever since he got paid he’s totally worthless. And even in the few games he actually feels like playing, he totally stinks. But I guess that not playing beats looking like a bum when he’s getting beat like a drum.
