LeSean McCoy leads Bills to easy win over 49ers

As it turns out, it doesn’t matter who quarterbacks the 49ers.

But as it turns out, it might matter who’s calling the plays for the Bills.

The Bills won their fourth in a row (all since they fired offensive coordinator Greg Roman), beating the 49ers 45-16 to improve to 4-2.

They’ve topped 30 points in three of the four games with Anthony Lynn as coordinator, and the outlier was a 16-0 win over the Patriots. Of course, they scored 31 the day before they fired Roman, and it’s very debatable whether it was his fault,

Sunday, it was running back LeSean McCoy carrying the load, with 140 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries.

Tyrod Taylor threw for two touchdowns before being pulled midway through the fourth quarter for E.J. Manuel, so comfortable was their lead.

Colin Kaepernick wasn’t great in his first start of the season, finishing with 187 yards passing and a touchdown and 66 yards rushing on eight carries.

But it’s also clear he’s not the only problem for the 49ers (1-5), who don’t have enough personnel on defense to withstand their abject lack of offensive firepower, as they lost their fifth straight.
