Colin Kaepernick is back on the board, but LeSean McCoy is on a bit of a roll.
The 49ers answered a LeSean McCoy touchdown run, with Kaepernick hitting Torrey Smith for a long touchdown pass to give the 49ers a 10-7 lead.
But McCoy came right back with his second touchdown of the day to put the Bills back up 14-10.
It was Kaepernick’s first touchdown pass in 363 days, since Oct. 18, 2015. He didn’t throw for a score in his last three starts last year, before he was benched for Blaine Gabbert.
It was a bit underthrown, but that gave Smith a free field to run against some sloppy Bills coverage.
But then McCoy led the Bills right back. He has nine carries for 84 yards and two touchdowns already.
