Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has his first touchdown of the 2016 season.

Gronkowski caught a four-yard touchdown from Tom Brady in the third quarter to put the Patriots back into the lead during a seesaw game at Gillette Stadium. Gronkowski set up his touchdown with a 38-yard catch on the previous play that converted a third down and left the Patriots with a 19-14 edge on the Bengals.

The Patriots gave up a touchdown to former teammate Brandon LaFell on the first Bengals drive of the half and then saw the offense punt after Brady was sacked for the third time on the afternoon, but the momentum shifted a few plays later. Backed up after a Cedric Ogbuehi holding penalty, Andy Dalton tried a pass from his end zone but got sacked by Patriots linebacker Dont’a Hightower for a safety before he could deliver the ball.

It took five plays for the Patriots to tack on seven more points and give the ball back to Dalton in what’s been an entertaining first three quarters in Foxboro.

What a dirty, undisciplined team these Bengals are…. all day long mouthing off, throwing cheapshots after the play.

    But who gets called?

    New England.

I was reminded several times today how Burfect & Co. pissed away a playoff spot by being undisciplined.
