Report: Arian Foster, Reshad Jones to play on Sunday

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - DECEMBER 01: Reshad Jones #20 of the Miami Dolphins celebrates with Louis Delmas #25 after intercepting a ball intended for Jeff Cumberland #85 of the New York Jets late in the fourth quarter during their game at MetLife Stadium on December 1, 2014 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. There was concern this week that the Dolphins might have to face the Steelers without starting safety Reshad Jones because of a groin injury that kept him from practicing at all on Wednesday and Thursday.

Jones returned for a limited session on Friday and that seems to have pointed him in the right direction to get on the field this weekend. Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Media reports from Miami that Jones will be in the lineup as the Dolphins try to slow down the Steelers offense.

Kinkhabwala also has positive news on running back Arian Foster. Foster missed the last three games with a hamstring injury, but practiced every day this week and is expected to be in the lineup as well. The Dolphins ran for 113 yards over the last two weeks, losing both games, so Foster’s return will be a welcome one.

The Dolphins also should have left tackle Branden Albert and left guard Laremy Tunsil back in the lineup this week as they try for their second win of the season.

I hope Jones can stay healthy the remainder of the season – but Foster will be lucky to make it to half time… today!
