Ryan awakens Falcons, who take lead to fourth quarter

Matt Ryan won’t miss.

After a tough first half, Ryan and the Falcons offense dominated the third quarter. After trailing 17-3 at halftime, the Falcons take a 24-17 lead to the fourth quarter.

Ryan went 13-of-17 for 220 yards and three touchdowns in the third quarter.

The Falcons had scoring drives of 75, 79 and 97 yards in the quarter, all ending in Ryan touchdown passes. Julio Jones, Mohamed Sanu and Levine Toilolo caught those touchdown passes.

    against the supposed biggest baddest defense around that had an extra week off and are playing at home.

    So a win against Denver, in Denver, and a great showing against the Hawks, in Seattle. *Shrug* Best team in the league.

    Seattle got away with one. Down their pass rusher (Bennett ) and Chancelor the Defense was lost in the 2nd half.

    Non-call at the end was huge only because it was at the end, there were missed calls throughout the game as there always are…but at the end of the game…wow…that was a huge.

    … in the first half, hitting Ryan eight times, sacking him three times and holding the Falcons top rated offense to 86 total yards… Yes they are a big bad defense…
