Terrell Suggs getting left arm checked out

The Ravens gave up a 66-yard touchdown to Odell Beckham late in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 27-23 loss to the Giants and they were missing one of their top defensive players on that final drive.

Linebacker Terrell Suggs did not return to the game after sacking Eli Manning on third down of the previous Giants drive, forcing them to settle for a Josh Brown field goal. Suggs appeared to hurt his left arm on the play and said after the game that he’ll go for further tests to evaluate the issue.

“We don’t know,” Suggs said. “I ain’t no doctor. We’re going to get it looked at, but you know who I am and what I represent. I’m going to get it looked at and make sure everything is alright.”

Injuries have been mounting for the Ravens defense. They opened the game without linebackers Elvis Dumervil and C.J. Mosley and then lost cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Jerraud Powers during the game.
