Carroll says Michael Bennett’s knee OK, he should play Sunday

Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll told reporters Monday that tests on defensive end Michael Bennett’s knee showed no real damage and that he expects Bennett to be OK.

Bennett was angry, to say the least, after taking a low block on the knee from Falcons tackle Jake Matthews during the third quarter of Sunday’s game. Bennett was helped off the field and missed the rest of the game.

Carroll said he believes Bennett will be able to play Sunday at Arizona.

Gronk slapped this guy around in the SB like he was his little brother. That was messed up on Gronk’s part, the man’s kids were watching.

When Bennett and Avril are both on the field, Seattle gets constant pressure on QB. As soon as one or the other gets dinged up, they give up chunk passing yardage.

“Bennett was angry, to say the least, after taking a low block on the knee.”

He’ll most likely channel that anger into the next game and go off!

been watching the Seahawks since the early 60s, that was a cheap hit.

Pretty sure Ryan is glad Bennett was hurt. Bennett tagged him 5 times in 2.5 quarters. Pretty sure Ryan had an ice bath after the game and probably again today. ‘hawks pass rush tattooed him multiple times. As a ‘hawks fan we got lucky. Refs blew the call for PI on Sherman at the end. Pretty sure that Atlanta lost the game in the 1st half only scoring 3 against the LOB.

I want to hang with you. That way I’ll never have to wonder what it’s like to live on another planet.

I wouldn’t doubt that taking Bennett out had been whispered within the ranks on Atlantas sideline. It opened everything up and Ryan didn’t really take any hits there after.

Darn, I already sent the chocolates to Matthews.

I’ll be honest, was hoping that he miss Sunday’s game…

If you’re going to whine about two guys getting tangled up when both are looking at the ball then certainly you’d agree a guy not looking back and instead pulling Kearse jersey in the end zone was a PI on the series the Hawks missed the FG.

Call them both and Hawks would be up by 9 when that last pass was thrown so ultimately Hawks win by at least 2 the same way as it ended.

    Stop whining.

Ariani…Considering the Hawks weren’t even around until the 70s…or are you just trying to be “clever” by hoping no Seattle fans would catch that because they’ve only been on the bandwagon since 2012? Most of us actually know more about our team than you’d like to believe. Sorry yours sucks so badly you have nothing better to do but troll!

Michael Bennett does not cover Tight Ends.

The Seahawks were not around in the 60’s.

Football games should not end on a gimmee by a ref.

    Hawks established in 76 loser.
    Your math is off.
    Your brain is off.
But you are a closet vikings fan that trolls threads to seek attention and stir up drama.
    Best of luck in life

If a Hawk player did this to a Falcon DL, everyone, yes everyone would say how the Hawks are dirty cheaters.

A Falcon player is a dirty cheater and nothing is said. Just pile on Hawks.

Atlanta is a dirty cheating team. Sherman got the benefit of the doubt on a controversial play & ops call Seattle cheaters.

Do you know the difference between a dirty cheating Falcon & a Hawk who didn’t cheat or play dirty? uh uh uh.. ok!

I thought Bennett is always angry at something or the other?

Hey now, be nice to Ariani…he was hit in the head when Frank Targingtown threw him the game winning touchdown that won the Super Bowl for the Vikings in the early 60s…he hasn’t been the same since.
