Dolphins safety Reshad Jones to miss the rest of the season

SAN DIEGO, CA - DECEMBER 20: Danny Woodhead #39 of the San Diego Chargers scores a touchdown past the defense of Reshad Jones #20 of the Miami Dolphins and Kelvin Sheppard #52 of the Miami Dolphins during the first half of a game at Qualcomm Stadium on December 20, 2015 in San Diego, California. The Dolphins worst fears for Reshad Jones have been realized.

According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins safety will miss the rest of the season after last week’s shoulder injury.

There were concerns after the game that Jones had torn his rotator cuff, and he was sent for tests.

The word that he won’t return indicates those tests confirmed the initial diagnosis. The loss of Jones is a major blow for a secondary that wasn’t in great shape to begin with.

He’s the best player on that team. Its time for the Dolphins to start thinking about who they are drafting in the top 5 of the draft.

Wow… That is a disaster… He is the best tackler they have, and there are not many that even try to tackle in that secondary… Goes from bad to worse in Miami this year!!

The Steelers game was a complete mirage, Buffalo will run for over 300 yards easily this Sunday and win by 20 however Turnoverhill will throw for over 350 (mostly in garbage time) and Dolphin fans will tell insist he’s the future.

Looks like they would need to make a trade with the jets for a top 5.

The dolphins are going to the playoffs as long as they find online tix.
3-13 at best this year, let’s be realistic.

If they are coasting into the playoffs as usual then you would be right.
