LeSean McCoy hasn’t had to finish games lately because he’s been so good in the first halves.

But the Bills running back wasn’t able to finish practice today, and that’s reason for concern.

Via Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, Bills coach Rex Ryan told reporters that McCoy wasn’t able to finish practice Wednesday because of “tightness” in his hamstring.

The Bills are awaiting further tests to determine the severity of the injury, but if he’s on the sidelines, it’s a major problem for them. McCoy is second in the league in rushing, with 587 yards on 104 carries (5.6 yards per carry).

He’s also helped them get off to quick starts. As noted by Carucci’s colleague Tim Graham, McCoy has been blistering in the first 30 minutes of games lately. During their four-game win streak, he has 38 carries for 343 yards (9.0 per carry) and four touchdowns before halftime.
