Greg Jennings points to sensitivity, arrogance of Aaron Rodgers

Mike Florio takes a closer look at the different theories about Aaron Rodgers' early-season struggling, including defenses working to keep him in the pocket.

The quarterback who is so sensitive that he’s even sensitive about being called sensitive has something else to be sensitive about.

Former teammate Greg Jennings, appearing earlier this week on Colin Cowherd’s show, has attributed the struggles of the team’s quarterback to his sensitivity and arrogance.

Aaron’s label is that he’s sensitive,” Jennings said. “When you’re dealing with a guy like that, and you’re playing a non-sensitive game, it’s hard. It’s challenging. Because you tend to not say what you would say to the next guy because of how this guy would take it.”

Jennings also said that Rodgers is “different” in the locker room, and that he exudes a pride that suggests “you’re kind of beneath me.”

“It’s no knock on him, but it doesn’t fit all the time,” Jennings said. “And it stands out a lot of the time.”

This aspect of the quarterback’s demeanor may not stand out as one of the main reasons for his struggles.
