It’s been a fairly ugly game so far in Detroit today, and injury news has made it uglier.

Key players on both teams -- Washington guard Brandon Scherff and Detroit cornerback Darius Slay -- have exited with injuries.

Scherff appeared to hurt his shoulder, and Washington’s offensive line suffered and gave up pressure a few times after Scherff exited the game. Slay appeared to hurt his leg, but the Lions’ defense was able to hold on its first drive without him.

Neither team has gotten close to the end zone and both teams have missed field goals. The Lions have also made a field goal and lead 3-0.
