Bears running back Jordan Howard hasn’t been starting for long, but he’s already making an impact.
The rookie runnign back was named NFC offensive player of the week after his breakout game against the Vikings Monday.
Howard had 26 carries for 153 yards and a touchdown in Monday’s win over the Vikings, and added four catches for 49 yards.
The fifth-round pick from Indiana rebounded from a slow two weeks (56 rushing yards his previous two games), but coupled with a few good games in early October (topping 100 yards against the Lions and Colts), is rapidly becoming the preferred option in the Bears backfield.
