Dak Prescott had wide open receivers all day, and Ezekiel Elliott ran through the Browns at will.

It was over from the first few minutes. The Cowboys really poured it on in the third quarter and went on to win, 35-10.

Prescott threw for 247 yards and three touchdowns. Elliott ran for 92 yards and two touchdowns. The Browns cut it to 21-10 just before halftime but were never really in it.

The Cowboys had the ball for more than 39 minutes and punted twice, only once in the first 50 minutes. They rolled up 423 total yards and held the Browns to 222.

Elliott’s second rushing touchdown of the day extended the Cowboys’ lead to 28-10 in the third quarter. A Prescott pass to Gavin Escobar later in the third made it 35-10. Both Escobar and Cole Beasley caught touchdown passes with no defender within 10 yards.

Elliott came up short of his fifth game of 100 yards or more because the Cowboys didn’t need him in the final minutes. Elliott now has seven rushing touchdowns on the season, third-most in the NFL.

Cowboys tight end Jason Witten caught eight passes for 134 yards and scored the game’s first touchdown. It was Witten’s first 100-yard receiving game since 2013.

Winners of seven straight, the Cowboys are 7-1 and play at Pittsburgh next week. The Browns are 0-9, have lost 12 straight dating back to last season and are gifting viewers with a Thursday night game this week at Baltimore.
