The Titans promoted running back David Fluellen to their active roster on Monday.

Though coach Mike Mularkey said rookie running back Derrick Henry might not miss much time due to a calf strain he suffered while warming up for last Sunday’s game in San Diego, the promotion of Fluellen is tied to Henry’s uncertain status for Sunday’s game vs. the Packers. Antonio Andrews was the lone backup running back with Henry out vs. the Chargers.

Fluellen broke into the NFL in 2014 but has yet to play in a regular season game. He first signed with the Titans prior to the 2015 season and has been on the practice squad and the offseason roster.

Cornerback Cody Riggs was waived to make room for Fluellen on the active roster.
