The Arizona Cardinals gave a one-year contract extension to wide receiver Jaron Brown on Wednesday.

The Cardinals announced the deal on their team website.

Brown is on injured reserve after suffering a torn ACL just over three weeks ago against the Seattle Seahawks. He was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent after this season.

Brown had 11 catches for 187 yards and a touchdown in seven games for the Cardinals before being injured. He was on pace to set career highs in every receiving category.
