Saints safety Kenny Vaccaro has been fined $9,115 for unnecessary roughness in last week’s loss to the Broncos, PFT has confirmed.

Vaccaro was penalized for hitting Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian as Siemian headed out of bounds on a fourth-quarter run. The penalty cost the Saints 15 yards and led to a field goal, though the really wild stuff was just beginning in that game. The Broncos won, 25-23, by returning a blocked PAT for two points.

Vaccaro is facing a potential suspension for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
