The Seahawks cut Christine Michael this week, leaving rookie C.J. Prosise to start at running back against the Eagles on Sunday.

The move to go with Prosise paid some early dividends for the Seahawks. Prosise went 72 yards after running behind the right side of the Seattle offensive line into daylight. Prosise had 153 yards of offense last week and has 80 already this week.

Seattle only leads the game 6-0 because Steve Hauschka continued a running theme of Sunday’s action by missing an extra point. With Stephen Gostkowski doing the same for the Patriots, the count is at 11 on the day.

Thomas Rawls is also active for the Seahawks on Sunday in his return to the lineup from a broken leg, but hasn’t touched the ball yet.
