The Ravens and Cowboys are tied at halftime, 10-10, in a battle of first place teams.

The Cowboys, who have won eight straight, took a while to get going against a Ravens defense that ranks near the top of the league in many major statistical categories but is playing today without top cornerback Jimmy Smith.

The Cowboys drove in the final 1:40 of the first half and tied the game on a 30-yard Dan Bailey field goal. The Cowboys got points on their final two possessions of the first half after punting the first four times they had the ball.

The Ravens have the league’s best run defense. Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliott had 26 rushing yards on six carries in the first half. The Ravens have struggled to run the ball this season but scored the game’s first touchdown on an 18-yard run by Terrance West.

Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 155 yards in the first half and threw a touchdown pass to Cole Beasley.
