Doug Pederson hasn’t decided whether to use Nelson Agholor on Monday night

As Eagles receiver Nelson Agholor struggles to reverse the roughest stretch of his career, he still may not get a chance to redeem himself on Monday night. Coach Doug Pederson told reporters on Saturday that no decision has been made regarding whether the 2015 first-round pick will be active.

“I’m not ruling him out right now,” Pederson said. “Again, we are preparing five [wide receivers] to go into this football game. Haven’t made a decision yet. He’s been working extremely hard and doing everything right this week. We’ll see come game time.”

Pressed whether Agholor would dress if Pederson decides only to go with four receivers, the coach didn’t take the bait to tip his hand.

“I don’t know,” Pederson said. “Quite honestly, I don’t know. Like I said, he’s had a good week of practice. I feel like his mind has been in a good spot. He’s done everything right this week. So it’s hard to say at this point, if he would be the odd man out.”

In his second season, Agholor has 27 catches for 264 yards and one touchdown. Drops and mental errors have plagued him this season, creating a possibility that he either won’t play much or won’t even dress.
