Another Bears player has seen his season come to an end due to injury.

Bears coach John Fox said on Sunday that it appeared linebacker Danny Trevathan suffered a serious knee injury during the team’s loss to the Titans. During his Monday press conference, Fox revealed that Trevathan has been diagnosed with a torn patellar tendon.

It’s a season-ending injury and will almost certainly keep Trevathan from football activities until the Bears are in training camp. Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham was able to make it back to the field in Week One this year after suffering the same injury during the 2015 season, but others, including Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, have needed longer to get back into playing condition after tearing their patellar tendons.

The injury comes with the Bears also missing the suspended Jerrell Freeman, which leaves them quite thin at inside linebacker the next few weeks.
