The Cardinals have been a frustrating lot this year, but on their opening drive against Washington, looked like the team people were expecting this year.

Cardinals running back David Johnson scored from a yard out for a 7-0 lead over Washington.

That capped a 15-play, 75-yard drive to open the game, which occupied nearly half the first quarter.

Johnson had 39 of those yards himself, as the Cards made a concerted effort to get it in his hands. They also found veteran wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, extending his streak of games with at least one catch to 191. That broke a tie with Marvin Harrison and moved him into sole possession of third place on the all-time list.
