Brees extends streak of 4,000-yard seasons

Saints quarterback Drew Brees has gone over 4,000 yards passing for the 11th straight season, the longest streak in NFL history.

At least thus far, though, nothing has come easy for Brees and the Saints Sunday. They trail the Buccaneers in the third quarter, 13-8, and have scored via two field goals and a safety.

The Buccaneers scored the game’s only touchdown early in the second quarter on a short touchdown run by Doug Martin.

Saints cornerback Delvin Breaux was shaken up early in the second half. He was assisted off the field, but the team has not yet made an announcement on his status.

Brees extends streak of 4,000-yard seasons…also extended Saints streak of non winning seasons, seasons not making the playoffs…looked dazed and confused again today, just like last week…

My condolences to those who had Brees or Wilson as your QB today in the fantasy playoffs.
