Bengals cornerback Adam Jones made clear leading up to Sunday’s game vs. the Browns that he didn’t think much of Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor.

After the Bengals predictably beat the Browns Sunday and Pryor caught one pass for 3 yards, Jones told reporters he only wanted to talk about Pryor, calling him “garbage.” At one point, according to Jay Morrison of the Dayton Daily News, Jones picked up the trash can and said Pryor belonged in there.

In a colorful and largely unprintable way, Jones said Pryor was an “arrogant mother” something or other who “doesn’t respect those who came before him.” Jones said Pryor tries “fake hard stuff” on the field and that it comes off as a facade. Because the whole truth should never get in the way of a good rant, Jones said he checked his background and Pryor “is a suburbs kid from Pittsburgh...I don’t have no respect for him.”

Per Cleveland.com, Pryor didn’t speak to reporters after the game. Jones said that Pryor approached Bengals defensive coordinator Paul Guenther after the game and told him he “was going to get [Jones] after the game.” So, it sounds like Jones and Pryor skipped the swapping of jerseys or addresses with the intention of sending Christmas cards.

A guy that’s been a slouch around the league as a quarterback played decent for his first year as a wide receiver,” Jones said.
