APHere’s some news that will have far-reaching implications. For your fantasy football playoffs.
According to Geoff Hobson of the team’s official website, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said wide receiver A.J. Green would return to the practice field Wednesday.
Green has missed the last three games with a hamstring injury, but said recently he wanted to get back on the field whether the Bengals were in the playoff hunt or not. There’s not much of that urgency, as the Bengals are 5-7-1.
But, Green’s 36 receiving yards away from 1,000. If he gets there this season, he’d join Randy Moss as the only receivers with six straight 1,000-yard seasons to begin his career.
While that’s not the kind of thing that should motivate a return if he’s not well, if he’s able to play, it’s reason enough to get back out there. At least it’s better than your fantasy team.
I want him to break all of Chad’ s Bengals receiving records.
not to mention how sweet it will be to knock pissburgh out of first.
I have a semi respect for this team. At least they never cheated against the Ravens. They sat there and took their losses like men. The Steelers cheated and still lost. Stop being like the Patsies and using deflated balls.
Super Bowl here we come.
