The Titans have made a change to the 53-man roster as they prepare to continue their chase for the AFC South title against the Chiefs this Sunday.

The team announced that they have promoted defensive lineman Mehdi Abdesmad from the practice squad. Running back David Fluellen was waived to make room for him on the roster.

Abdesmad spent the summer with the Titans after signing as an undrafted free agent and landed on the practice squad after failing to survive the cut to 53 players.

Defensive tackle Jurrell Casey missed last Sunday’s game with a sprained foot and defensive lineman Karl Klug strained his Achilles during the victory over Denver. Abdesmad gives them additional depth should one or both miss the game against Kansas City.
