The Packers are doing business in bulk this afternoon.

The team announced that in addition to a 15-man undrafted rookie class, they’ve also signed five of their 10 draft picks.

They signed fifth-round wide receiver DeAngelo Yancey and running back Aaron Jones, sixth-round guard Kofi Amichia, and seventh-round running back Devante Mays and wide receiver Malachi Dupre.

That leaves their two second-rounders, a third and two fourths.

Filling out their roster, they signed the following 15 undrafteds: Cornerback Donatello Brown, linebacker Johnathan Calvin, wide receiver Michael Clark, wide receiver Montay Crockett, guard Thomas Evans, guard Geoff Gray, linebacker Cody Heiman, quarterback Taysom Hill, defensive tackle Izaah Lunsford, guard/tackle Adam Pankey, tight end Aaron Peck, running back Kalif Phillips, cornerback Lenzy Pipkins, cornerback David Rivers, and punter Justin Vogel.

  1. Ah yes Norsehorse I hope your team signed a kicker who can make something from 27 yards.

But they are probably busy cleaning their empty trophy case.

And picking up dead birds around the perimeter of their taxpayer funded $1.2 billion dollar monument to their stupidity.

  3. I figured there would be comments from viking fans on this story already. They must be anxious to see who their team will be picking up after the Packers make their cuts later this year.

  4. Has anyone ever seen conclusive proof that Ted Thompson knows which positions play offense and which positions play defense? Doesn’t seem like he knows to me.

  5. I’m looking through some boring articles today and suddenly I see an article with a packers logo on it- instantly go to comment section.

Not their best work but still a couple laughs. Maybe some newly signed players will bring some new material.

Don’t let me down Vikings fans.

  6. Next NFLPA contract needs to state: No contract, no contact. Not with other players, pads, weights, turf, nothing.

Get their contracts finalized so players are protected.

  7. Tramon Williams, Sam Shields, Atari Bigby, and Geronimo. Are all UDFAs that TT has signed that have helped contribute quite a bit to GB making NFC title games or wirnning a Superbowl.

  8. With as many draft busts to his name, TT should bypass the draft, sell his picks for cash, and jump straight to signing UDFA’s.

  9. Yep, TT is inept, MM can’t coach his way out of a paper bag and the Packers have only one player worth anything. Yet they still own the Minnesota Vikings and make the playoffs every year, and get further than the Vikes in those few the Vikes actually make the playoffs..

    So true.
And don’t you find it amazing that the one man seems to dominate the entire Barney’s roster?
I mean, a roster built from top to bottom with All-Pros and sure fire Hall of Famers.
At least that’s what we are told year after year after year.

You would think if that one man has had so much success against the entire league of rosters of the best players in the NFL, he should probably deserve to win the MVP award every single year.
But than the Barneys will argue against that point too.

  11. The Viking trolls are a little off their game these days. The Packers are merely getting these contracts signed in their proper order. And don’t worry about talent level, if they don’t have any, Speilman will be sure to sign them the minute they hit the Packer waiver wire.

    _____________

They would still win the NFCN.

  13. This is great! Can’t wait to see these new guys playing for our Packers. Now that they’re trapped, which of Green Bay’s two Applebee’s will profit the most from this fresh influx of new customers?
