    Agreed. Equally ridiculous to force season-ticket holders to pay full price for meaningless exhibition games.

    Alternatively, they could be viewed as critically necessary time for teams to evaluate rookies and off season acquisitions, subgroups to work on basic schemes and chemistry, and getting select players into football shape.
