Myles Garrett signs with Browns

The first overall pick is officially signed.

Browns rookie pass rusher Myles Garrett has signed his contract with the Browns.

Under the league’s rookie salary structure, it’s a four-year, $30.4 million deal with a $20.3 million signing bonus. The Browns will also have a fifth-year option for the 2021 season.

The Browns have now signed six of their 10 draft picks.

    As a close friend of the organization it is quite humorous that the undisputed #1 prospect of this year’s draft is also one of the most bustable prospects since Eric Fisher

    Now if the Browns can just re-sign Johnny Manziel and then sign Colon Kaepernick as back up their QB issue will be resolved and set for years to come. Both these guys say their heads are in the game now which will make these signings huge. We all know Johnny Manziel is a man of his word.

    Taxes on 20 Mil is about 7.5 Mil. He could get some back with a competent tax pro. And, the willingness to invest in the long run.

    Kessler actually played decent during stretches last season. Atkinson III is underrated, although he will probably not get a chance to start. Improved defense. The team looks headed in a positive direction.
