Corey Coleman dealing with hamstring injury

Browns receiver Corey Coleman was hurt falling on a football at Organized Team Activities, but that’s not his only injury.

Coleman is also dealing with a sore hamstring, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

This is the second consecutive summer that hamstring injuries have plagued Coleman. He missed the first two preseason games last year because of a hamstring injury. Coleman also missed time during his college career at Baylor with hamstring injuries.

Coleman, the 15th overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft, also suffered a broken hand last year and finished his rookie season with 33 catches for 413 yards and three touchdowns.

  1. For a split second I thought the headline read “Corey Feldman dealing with a hamstring injury”. Now that would have been newsworthy.

  2. I used to think people who sat out with hamstring injuries were wimps. Until I pulled my hammy bad just before Christmas. This stuff takes forever to heal. I still feel it once and a while when at the gym. Hopefully it works out for him.

  3. The NFL Combine should have a falling on the football drill.

I wonder if Ryan Grigson had a first round grade on this bust ? If the Browns asked him any questions before they hired him that should have been the one.

  4. I’m still absolutely amazed that the Browns hired Grigson as as Senior Personnel Xxecutive. Just when I thought the Browns were starting to be smart. I just don’t get it. You dupe a guy into giving up a #1 pick for Trent Richardson and later on you hire him. Whoa. But then again, the Browns used used that pick on Manziel, so who knows?

  5. I’m sorry but brock osweiler is bad luck he was the one throwing the pass that caused that freak injury. the sooner kizer and kessler taking his reps the better can a qb needy team call us please before pre season is over and offer like a 5th round pick for brock ?

His job is “guy who used to be an NFL GM but sucked at it who now has to answer to guys who are still NFL GM’s.”

In the real world that’s called a demotion so not sure what the problem is. Plenty of crappy head coaches that are great coordinators. Sometimes you get promoted well beyond your actual skill. History says 90% of the time the Indianapolis Colts organization will be the one to do it. I mean he did get the job from Bill Polians son after all so he was still an upgrade even when sucking.
