Dolphins fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill has no structural damage to the knee he injured in practice today, according to Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network.

Tannehill walked off the field after suffering a non-contact injury to his left knee. There were fears that it could have been a serious injury. Tannehill suffered a torn ACL in the same knee last season.

The injury set off immediate speculation that the Dolphins could make a major move at quarterback, such as signing Colin Kaepernick, trading for Brock Osweiler or coaxing Jay Cutler out of retirement. But it appears none of that will be necessary, and Tannehill will be good to go.

UPDATE 5:58 p.m. ET: Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports that the MRI was inconclusive, that all options are on the table, and that surgery remains possible.
