The Bills are ready to reward running back LeSean McCoy if he has a good year.

McCoy and the Bills agreed to a deal that includes $2.5 million in incentives for this season, a league source tells PFT.

This is the third year of the five-year, $40 million contract McCoy signed with the Bills in 2015. His base salary this season is $6 million.

Last season McCoy had 234 carries for 1,267 yards and 13 touchdowns, plus 50 catches for 356 yards.

  1. Smart play by Buffalo. McCoy is already a very self motivated player, but the Bills offense relies so heavily him. Any bit of extra motivation can only help.

Plus it’s a way for this new regime to show McCoy how they feel about him, and to show the dressing room that their best players (that also buy in) will be rewarded.

  2. The Bills really really love Shady. They trade for him and give him a huge new contract for no reason except to make him get on plane to Buffalo. Now giving incentives even though he’s one of the highest paid RBs in football. That being said, he’s been a leader and this may be how the new regime gets guys to play… reward two amazing years of football… and counting.

  3. He’s the only gimmick the Bills have left to get fans in the seats, so of course they are going to pay him while having a fire sale with everyone else. Same ol’ Bills.

It’s still not enough to associate yourself with the jills organization.
How does it feel to be a 8 ID troll from Toronto living in your parents basement with no NFL team at 60 years of age?
