Ready or not, Adoree' Jackson will play — and play a lot — for the Titans against the high-powered Raiders. The rookie cornerback played 86 defensive snaps in the preseason. That includes 36 in a start against the Bears and Mike Glennon, who picked on the 18th overall pick in Week 3 of the exhibition season.

Jackson had 11 tackles in the preseason.

Trust what you see, trust your technique,” Jackson said, via Cameron Wolfe of ESPN. “If you do that, you shouldn’t get beat. If you do, next-play mentality. Go out there, be loose and have fun. Let the game come to me.”

The Titans don’t have much of a choice with starting corner LeShaun Sims ruled out with a groin injury. Sims missed practice all week.

Logan Ryan will start on one side with Jackson and veteran Brice McCain seeing significant snaps as the next men up.

“Adoree will play a good bit,” Titans coach Mike Mularkey said.

  1. I AM A HUGE TITANS FAN AND ADOREE IS A GREAT ATHLETE WILL EVENTUALLY BE A GREAT OUTSIDE CORNER BUT AS OF NOW HE IS ONLY A NICKEL CB….HE WILL BE ON OUTSIDE PLENTY SUNDAY SO WE WILL HAVE TO WIN A SHOOTOUT

  2. Adoree Jackson is a tremendous talent–but it’s raw talent … very raw. I wouldn’t put it passed him to have a pick 6 and get smoked on two bombs in the same game Sunday.

  3. If you have Raiders receivers on your fantasy team, this is the week to start them. For all the talk of the Titans upgrades, I really don’t think they got much better at the CB position.

I’m a Titans fan, so I know it all too well. Raiders will win on Sunday and they’ll score a lot of points.

  4. If I had to guess Logan will cover Amari while Adoree gets the second best WR. Lord I can just see Amari beating Adoree if they go one on one, he may be good but Amari is amazing

  5. Adoree vs Crabtree I like that matchup for the Raiders.

If the Raiders roll out 4 wides (Cooper, Crabtree, Seth Roberts, Cordarrell Patterson) do the Titans have the horses at CB to matchup?

    Gonna be a great game.
