Vikings tackle Mike Remmers out, Eric Kendricks to play

The Vikings are on a bit of a roll lately, and they’ve done it without starting right tackle Mike Remmers for the last month.

They will continue to do so.

Via Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Remmers will miss his fourth straight game Sunday against the Falcons.

He missed three with a concussion, and then suffered a back injury in practice Wednesday and has been out the rest of the week. He’ll be replaced in the lineup by Rashod Hill.

The Vikings will have linebacker Eric Kendricks back, as coach Mike Zimmer said he expects Kendricks to play through the hip injury which kept him out of practice earlier this week.

  1. Hill has been pretty good filling in for Remmers. Losing Kendrick’s would have been a huge blow, and still could be if he aggravates the hip injury during the game.

  2. The added weight of every passing year the Vikings go without a SuperBowl game (much less a win,) is becoming a huge factor.

No more choke talk. If they are strong enough and good enough and savvy enough to win a SuperBowl, the fact they do it on their home-field, would be unbelievably impressive. It would be so impressive, I would give them credit for three SuperBowl victories if I could. If they do that……they’re one of the best ever. There won’t be any manner of reason to dispute it.

You sound more worried about The Super Bowl than 95% of the Viking fans. There’s 5 games left so calm down Stella. We won’t leave you behind, as if we have a choice.
