Welcome to the first PFT-NBC Live Blog, which has no relation to any NFL game or news or development or other tangible event. 

Instead, we wanted to give all of you a chance to give us real-time feedback about the new PFT (good or bad or neutral), to crack some jokes, to pretend to be people like Emmitt Smith or Chris Landry, and to maybe ask a football question or two.

We'll start at noon, and go for about 75 to 90 minutes.  Or until I get bored.

As a special Holiday goodwill gesture for our friends in Philly, we've dusted off the Live Blog thing for Monday night's must-win game against the Browns.

We'll be firing up the engine at 8:15 p.m. EST or so, in order to have plenty of time to get the cord on the lawnmower properly pulled before Senator Hank Williams, Jr., Bitch makes his appearance.

UPDATE:  At about 9:30 p.m. EST, I lost my Internet connection and I can't get the CoverItLive program to re-initialize.  I'll keep trying.

I'm watching primarily because I need a crapload of fantasy points from Chris Johnson and Dallas Clark.

UPDATE:  We're having trouble getting the CoverItLive lawnmower started.  We think we just flooded the engine.
