PFT Live: Cardinals talk with Kent Somers, Broncos talk with Vic Lombardi

The Cardinals will have to do some shuffling on their offensive line over the next two months with left guard Mike Iupati having arthroscopic surgery.

Initial estimates peg his recovery time at 6-8 weeks and Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic will be a guest of Mike Florio’s on Thursday’s edition of PFT Live to discuss how the team will cover for his absence. The Broncos suffered a major injury on their offensive line long before the start of camp when left tackle Ryan Clady went down with a torn ACL and Vic Lombardi of 104.3 The Fan in Denver will let us know how rookie Ty Sambrailo is faring as his replacement during a chat about the Broncos.

Offensive linemen aren’t the only guys getting hurt and Darin Gantt of PFT will join the boss to discuss Panthers wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin’s torn ACL. We’ll also have former NFL trainer and current Sunday Night Football sports medicine analyst Mike Ryan on hand to discuss those injuries and more.

Giants quarterback Eli Manning’s contract has been a popular topic of conversation this offseason and it’s getting more attention now that Philip Rivers has signed an extension with the Chargers.

They’ll discuss the report that Manning is looking for a contract that will make him the highest-paid player in the league among other issues related to the negotiations.
