The last time we saw the Dolphins, they were finishing off a week of speculation about quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s future of a starter by sending the Raiders to defeat in London.

That was two weeks ago and the Dolphins will return from their bye for a matchup with the Packers this Sunday. On Thursday’s edition of PFT Live, Mike Florio will check in with Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald to see what we can look forward to in that game. They’ll talk about Tannehill, Mike Pouncey’s return to the lineup and much more during the show.

Florio and MDS will then move on to give their picks for which team they think will win that game as well as the rest of the matchups on this week’s schedule.

PFT Live: Redskins talk with Rich Tandler, Coaching hot seat

NFL Washington Redskins vs Seattle Seahawks Getty Images

The Redskins lost to the Seahawks on Monday night and reports out of Washington had some members of the team in a more jovial mood than you’d expect to see in the locker room after a loss.

Rich Tandler of CSN Washington will join Mike Florio on Wednesday’s edition of PFT Live to discuss that reaction to the loss and the response from coach Jay Gruden to those reports. They’ll also take a more general look at how things are shaping up in Gruden’s first year as the head coach and check in on Robert Griffin III’s recovery from an ankle injury during his visit.

Gruden’s team is 1-4, but it’s probably too soon to start talking about him being on a hot seat so early in his career. Florio will tell us which coaches don’t enjoy such a reprieve in our weekly look at which teams may be heading for a change on the sideline.

It all gets going at noon ET and you can watch it all live by clicking right here.

PFT Live: Jets talk with Manish Mehta, Lions talk with Dave Birkett

New York Jets v San Diego Chargers Getty Images

The Jets heard some of that old circus music over the last couple of days as they slumped to a 31-0 defeat in San Diego that saw quarterback Geno Smith head to the bench and then make a rather pained attempt to explain why he missed a team meeting because of the time difference between New York and California.

Smith was reportedly at a movie when he was supposed to be at the team meeting and Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News will join Mike Florio on Tuesday’s edition of PFT Live to discuss which movie Smith saw and whether he’d recommend it to film-loving Jets fans. We kid, of course. They’ll be talking about Rex Ryan’s decision to stick with Smith, who deserves the blame for a Jets season that looks like it could be headed straight off the rails and what the team might be able to do to avoid that fate.

We know one way the Lions could help themselves is to find a kicker capable of making field goals from beyond 40 yards and Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press will also stop by the show to talk about which kickers are up for the gig now that Alex Henery has been dispatched. We’ll also check in on wide receiver Calvin Johnson and the chances that he’ll be held out of Week Six to let his ankle fully recover.
