The Detroit Lions signed their first round selection, the fifth overall pick, of the 2013 NFL draft DE Ziggy Anasah. Mike Florio thinks the rookie wage scale in the new CBA is the reason why so many rookies are signing quickly. Here’s something to keep in mind with the rookie contracts under the new CBA, after the third year of a rookie contact, the contract can be renegotiated. PFT Live: Les Snead, Jeff Ireland

Les Snead AP

Two of the biggest moves in the first round were trades into the top 10 by the Dolphins and Rams and we’ve got the general manager from each team joining us on Thursday’s edition of PFT Live.

Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland will also drop by the show to talk about trading a second round pick to move up nine spots for the right to draft defensive end/linebacker Dion Jordan. We’ll hear how the Dolphins envision using Jordan and touch on some of the other big moves the Dolphins have made during a busy offseason.
