Bucs sign a kicker, cut a kicker
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offense and defense have been so bad this season that it would be easy to overlook that they've been awful in the kicking game, too.
But the Bucs' kickers have been awful, and now they've made a change.
PewterReport.com is reporting the Buccaneers have signed free agent kicker Connor Barth and released K Shane Andrus. Barth becomes the Bucs' third kicker this season; Andrus was signed to replace Mike Nugent.
Andrus had only attempted one field goal in four games since replacing Nugent, a 43-yard attempt that came up short. Barth, who previously kicked for the Chiefs, has made 10 of 12 field goals in his career.
