Week Nine blackout update: Jaguars off, Bucs on, Bengals get extension

At this stage, it would will be a lot more newsworthy if a Jaguars game isn't blacked out in Jacksonville.  (The team is holding out hope that a December game against the Colts can sell enough tickets.)

The team officially announced Thursday that Sunday's game will not be televised locally.  The Associated Press anticipates that the team could set a record low in attendance for the second straight game.  The Jaguars host the Chiefs this week.

Not every Florida team will be blacked out. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Thursday that Sunday's game against Green Bay will be televised loclaly.  (We wonder how many Packers fans will be in attendance?)

And for the second straight game, the Bengals have received a 24-hour extension on their blackout deadline for a big AFC North battle against the Ravens.  It would be depressing if the most meaningful game Cincinnati has played since 2006 wasn't seen by the Who Dey faithful.
