LAW INTERESTED IN PACKERS, COWBOYS

Though cornerback Ty Law is talking to the Dolphins, he’s apparently interested in several teams.  But he prefers to play for a contender.
According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, Law would be interested in joining the Packers or the Cowboys, both of which have injury problems at the cornerback position.
“I can walk in now and play on Sunday,” Law said.  “I just want to go out and play ball.  I’ve been training to play, I’m ready to play, and I want to go play.”
Other teams that have shown some interest in Law over the course of the past several months include the Browns, Patriots, and Jets.

  1. Is there any player that doesn’t want to play for contender? Does anyone say “trade me to a losing team?”

  2. “But he prefers to play for a contender.

So does he want to play for a contender or does he wanna play for the Packers or the Cowboys? Contender? Packers/Cowboys? He can’t have both, he needs to make up his mind.

  3. “So does he want to play for a contender or does he wanna play for the Packers or the Cowboys? Contender? Packers/Cowboys? He can’t have both, he needs to make up his mind.”
Maybe he’s sign with the (haha) Titans.

  4. So your telling me if Ron Wolf was still in charge of the Packers we would have
    1.) Brett Favre
    2.) Randy Moss
    3.) Tony Gonzalez
    4.) Ty Law
On the 2008 Green Bay roster

  5. Knowing Law the way all NE fans do, he doesn’t care about playing for a contender, he only cares about getting PAID. He’ll go to the highest bidder, and only the highest bidder. It’s what he does, ALWAYS.

  6. How old is this guy? 80? I can’t remember a time when he wasn’t playing. Wasn’t he originally drafted by the Chicago Cardinals? Just retire, already.

  7. Green Bay won’t take him. Harris is back after their bye, Williams has filled in for Harris very well, and they got a rookie 2nd rounder who just needs some experiene. TT doesn’t go after old players, though I was shocked to hear he almost traded for Gonzalez.

  8. I don’t recall that his criminal history is bad enough to earn a spot on the Dallas roster.

  9. Bearable makes a good point.
the Patriots, who need enough secondary help themselves, cut this guy and didn’t bring him back. that should tell you something.

  10. He should incite a riot inside a strip club and get arrested, Jerry Jones will post bail and sign him to a Cowgirls contract at the same time.

  11. Don’t forget he’s also FAT!
Ty Law is a money grubbing has been.
Patriots never wanted him back because he sucks now. His football days are long gone.
    Move on. Law….

  12. “Maybe he’s sign with the (haha) Titans.”
Good observation Vox! That would be signing with a contender!
Its a sad, sad day when I agree with Vox.

  13. he is old and slow AND demanding big bucks. He may still be able to play but I know there isn’t enough room in the Cowboys locker room for both T.O.’s and Law’s egos.

  14. “Maybe he’s sign with the (haha) Titans. ”
Vox your pathetic. Pull the Dallas friggin Stars off your glamorous faggy eyes and wake up. In case you hadn’t noticed (hence the stars you retard) the Titans are the last remaining undefeated team in the NFL.
In addition, they are doing it with QB that was their backup when the season opened. Your posts are just as pathetic as Florio’s articles. Dallas is on the verge of imploding, it’s only a matter of time and the clock is ticking on TO. He already has the safety off and the trigger is starting to be depressed.

  15. To texasPHINSfan says
They didn’t cut him, he left as a FA, and they’ve tried to bring him back a few times now, but he’s always taken the most $$$ offered, even if it meant playing for KC…

  16. “Good observation Vox! That would be signing with a contender!”
Yup. A week 7 contender, at that.

  17. I think the Patriots would welcome him back on ability and to mentor their two rookie corners, but the word is Law wants to be paid like he’s 27, not 34.

  18. “Vox your pathetic. Pull the Dallas friggin Stars off your glamorous faggy eyes and wake up. In case you hadn’t noticed (hence the stars you retard) the Titans are the last remaining undefeated team in the NFL.
Jags, Bengals, Texans, Vikings, Ravens. I’m impressed. Not. Next up? The Chefs.
“In addition, they are doing it with QB that was their backup when the season opened”
That’s another thing. They need to let their best players play and quit trying to shove their scrubby big money makers down everyone’s throat.
“Dallas is on the verge of imploding”
Yeahyeah. What does that have to do with the Titans being vastly overrated?

  19. “Yup. A week 7 contender, at that.”
Umm yeah, which is waaaay better than a week 1 contended (Dallas)

  20. Even old, slow and fat we’ll take him in Miami where most of our secondary are young, slow and talentless.

  21. “Umm yeah, which is waaaay better than a week 1 contended (Dallas) ”
Talk to me in December. Every season the Oilers/Titans have played in their entire NFL history ended in a post-season loss or out of the playoffs entirely. Usually the latter. Why am I supposed to believe that this season will be any different?

Never have I seen a 4-2 team in week 6 been counted out. And so much animosity towards one team. And for what? Because they have a star studded roster and the rest of the league fears them? Is that why all these fans of other teams keep referring to the “implosion”? Is this a hope for implosion, because I don’t get where anyone sees this whole “implosion” thing after ONE player gets suspended and the media blows everything TO does out of proportion.

  23. Umm Vox, if my memory serves me correctly I don’t think the Cowboys have won a playoff game in 12 years. Of course at this point I expect you to bring up the SB wins from forever ago…
Do it, Vox… bring them up and make an ass of yourself!

  24. Vox loves to talk himself some trash…knowing full well that the Cowgirls have consistently been the most underperforming playoff team of the decade.
he loves to ignore that winning in the playoffs is everything because its the one thing that Cowgirls have not done. TO will not only finish his career without a Superbowl win, he will look back at his lone appearence as an Eagle as the highlight of his sorry career.
Hey, Vox, can you even spell the word, choke?

  25. He may be old but he’s still better then any cornerback on the pats.
Pat’s should make him an offer.

  26. i love this VOX vs. the world soap opera going on in here.
titans fans< pointing out how good they are so they can get ty law.
i guess people in tennessee really are stupid hicks. lol.
hey law GB dont need you and they sure as hell dont want your old ass.

  27. “Umm Vox, if my memory serves me correctly I don’t think the Cowboys have won a playoff game in 12 years.”
Yeah, can’t do anything about that until the playoffs start. But congrats on all of the glorious Titans playoff wins in the last 12 years. It’s all you have.
“Of course at this point I expect you to bring up the SB wins from forever ago…”
How about this… the Titans haven’t won a Super Bowl in… recorded history. hahaha

  28. It’s a little early to try and discern who is truly a contender Ty. Wait until about 5 minutes left in the 3rd quarter of the Super Bowl before signing.

  29. “Vox loves to talk himself some trash…knowing full well that the Cowgirls have consistently been the most underperforming playoff team of the decade.”
You morons have to pick convenient windows because you have to.
“he loves to ignore that winning in the playoffs is everything because its the one thing that Cowgirls have not done.”
Sure they have. In fact they have more playoff wins than your Packers, even though the Packers have been around decades longer and the Cowboys haven’t won any in a long time.
But the NFL didn’t begin until 12 years ago for you, did it?
“Hey, Vox, can you even spell the word, choke?”
Yes. 4th and 29. Or 6 INTs, take your “pick”. hahaha
    27-16. In Lambeau. This season.

  30. vox
i dont know anythign about 4th and 29, you prolly meant 4th and 26… and for that sir shame on you. there was no reason to bring that up. it was completely out of line.
