STEELERS GETTING SOME SUPPORT FROM ABOVE?

On the same day that Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner reportedly wants the roof at University of Phoenix Stadium to be closed (possibly to prevent his spontaneous ascension into heaven), the Pittsburgh Steelers are getting a different kind of support from above.
In a video from the International Space Station, Pittsburgh native Michael Fink donned a Steelers hat and flashed a gravity-free Terrible Towel in support of the Steelers.
Though it’s a shame that Fink won’t be able to attend the game in person, his current view is only slightly worse than the last row of Section 519 at Heinz Field.

  1. Anybody know if the Packers are playing today? Remember this weekend last year? The Packer faithful assuming the kick would be good and they would be going to the Superbowl? Then it went wide and a loud collective shriek could be heard across Wisconsin. The window has closed folks, your time came and went. Titletown? you bet Titletown. When they wore wool sweaters/jerseys, leather helmets, played hung over, and there was only 6 or 8 teams in the “league”. aaaaaahhhhh, good times. b b buh, buh, buh… BAAAAAAA HAAAAAA HAAAA HAAAA HAAAA. sniff, woops. I think I peed a little….

  2. I knew the Steelers had the most far-reaching fan base in football, but this is ridiculous.

  3. Yea, but think about it, if the astronaut in question had been an NFL player, Goodell would have fined him for taking the Terrible Towel into space. I wonder if NASA will fine him for excessive celebration?

  4. Hey cheeseweasel if you are a Packer fan, please stop being one. Oh by the way I don’t think they were wearing leather helmets in 1996. Start supporting another team like the Viqueens!

  5. So you telling me to expect a flaming turd coming from space and possible blocking a game-winning field goal by Matt Stover?

  6. “possibly to prevent his spontaneous ascension into heaven”
Single funniest thing ever written on this, or possibly any, website.
And they shall call him Elijah.
